My comment was about "the PHONies". I went on to make clear a distinction between what Pauline Hanson said and what "the PHONies" said. The "PHONies" were a mish-mash who, between them, said just about everything. The common thread to their babble was "me too, me too", as they tried to clamber into PH's shadow in the hopes of getting a free ride. I have commented elsewhere on the public and unashamed official policy of "Asianisation" being promoted by our government at the time. It was the denial by the establishment of PH's right, as an Australian citizen, to comment publicly on that most topical of issues which caused the community outrage and political backlash of which the formation of PHON was part.
If you don't believe we are-were in danger of being overrun, take a look at the higher degree candidate lists of some of our higher educational insbreastutions on the web. Some of them do not have so much as a token non-Asian in their entire PhD enrolments. Those who pbutt are given easy access to Australian citizenship. That means, in a generation or two, our governing clbutt will be almost exclusively Asian. It is all very well to sneer and say "Australians" deserve it, but what about all the other non-Asian hyphenated Australians you lot have made such a noise about championing? Do you think all those Bosnian-Australians, Uzbekistanian-Australians, Eritrian-Australians are going to like it any better than Pauline Hanson's Australians?
You lot have managed to revert Australia to the situation in Norman England where the ruling elite was ethnically distinct from the rest of the citizenry. Ask the Irish how much they loved it.
