Truth is absolute. What Ferdie said was correct.

Windschuttle's version of history can be substantiated by historical documents whereas the Immigration Dept's website version is based on history that neglected and-or ignored and-or misquoted those documents. Windschuttle's version was proved more accurate. It is not a question of justifying indulgences but a bald statement of fact.
