I have been to Singapore 8 times and Thailand twice. Not for long, thank God. I have been living in Europe for several years. A much more civilised place than Asia.

Simple. What you posted is plainly incorrect. The general community in Australia is far safer than in Asia. You have presented no evidence for you claim, it is not logical. Have you looked at the liquidate rates, the crime rates etc. etc? Asian drug criminals have targeted Australia because of our more humane laws, that is not a valid reason to abandon our innocent-until-proven-guilty Australian values and adopt stupid Asian laws that buttume guilt on f***-all evidence.
