Absolutely not. I never suggested they should. Nor am I even saying that Corby is innocent. I simply don't know and nor do you. I...

Should the Indonesians always accept evidence from Australia without question? That is more naive than Shapelle's case.

The Australia culture have painted themselves into a corner because we in the past have constantly poked our noses into other country's business telling them how to live their way of life. Now that is come and bit them back in the bum, we have a big whinge when it doesn't go our way.

From hindsight in Australia, I am leaning towards Schapelle's side of the story but I also cannot dispute the fact that Australia's domestic drug smuggling has really hurt a potential innocent victim for simply purchasing something that is illegal.

The evidence from Australia that will be produced will obviously give the appearence of Australians wanting to poke their noses into another country's legal system.

The suggestion would be to clean up the domestic drug trafficking which is the original cause of Schapelle's problem. By purchasing something the is illegal will only strengthen illegal trafficking.

The point I am bringing across is that Australia is poking their noses giving the appearence as perverting the cause of their own legal system in the effort to bring a national home.

It does not matter whether the Indonesian fishermen knew they were poaching or not. Maybe Australia should have a hanging offence for poaching fish in Australian as a deterrant for the fishermen.
