Well, he may or may not have done what he was accused of on which I do not even want to speculate. In any case it is high time to close the WW2 files.
However that does not mean we should rewrite history or refuse to learn from past mistakes.
Here are some facts:
The Arrow Cross Party (Nyilas P=E1rt) of Hungary was truly a despeakable organisation. It was created to do the bidding of the nazis specially after the country was occupied by German forces in March 1944 (eyewitness accounts: The Hungarian extreme right including the Nyilas P=E1rt did take part in attrocities against the Jews, Gypsies, socialist, social democrats, communists and all those who were inclined to reach a peace deal with the Allied Powers. Memebership in the Nyilas P=E1rt however was by no means compulsory so those who joined up really meant business.
