Ok, that's a fair point, will go into it below.
Primarily Australians died in the Bali plantings, but so did a lot of Indonesians and other people. It destroyed the livelihood of the Balinese too, even if primarily Hindu as opposed to Muslim (and I'm sure that the lunatic zealots that did the plantings were more than happy to see that happen). At the end of the day though, it was an issue in Indonesia. Either we're a world stage, or we're Australia. Australians died in Bosnia too, just a much lesser number and in isolated incidents.
If we are to denounce crimes based on "members of our own religion" committing them, then one rule fits all. It's either just locally or it's on the world stage. Why do you expect the Muslim community here to condemn Muslim persons abroad blowing things up in Europe, Britain, Bali and the Middle East if the Christian community here is not condemning end planters, what happened in Serbia, what happened in Ireland, what is happening in Africa and India, and even locally the mbuttive paedophile population within the church.
The Muslim community here (and world-wide) has been condemning the acts of the planters in the last few events (probly a case of "f***, I think it'd be obvious, but I spose we better voice it so people realise"), I've still yet to see the Christian community do much of anything to ever condemn fellow Christian scumbags.
I don't live in the Eastern states, so dunno (or care) what f***ed up things happen over there, but that simply isn't the case here in WA with the vast majority of the thing called life. Anyone willing to join with the community will generally get on, not prepared to do so then f*** off back to where you came from (and that applies to blue-eyed blonde-haired anglos as well, and I'm one of those, I just happen to have no problems getting on with people despite differences in belief providing they're willing to do the same!).
You missed them spitting venom at everything to do with the plantings in Spain and Britain??? You missed them recently going to the government to have entry blocked to that hard-core radical that wanted to come here and preach? They're turning around from their insular nature, and that is what we NEED them to do. They need to say "AUSSIE AUSSIE AUSSIE OI OI OI" regardless of whatever f***ing religion they follow, Christian Muslim or whatever, and treating them like poo ain't going to accomplish that.
If you're talking about the Lakemba scumbags, I wouldn't trust it any more than I trusted Family First when they said "we don't agree with what nalliah said, but ummm, err, we're keeping him as a member anyway". Loons are loons. If you're talking the average Muslim on the street, yeah I would, just the same as I would trust the average Christian on the street when they say nalliah is nothing more than a f***wit.
