Of course Pierre 'forgot' to mention that the letter was written in beautifull Indonesia, a language which like Americans, very few Australians speak let alone read & write. On the other hand, the Indonesian security forces have a history of killing & using the corpses of fellow Indonesians as political tools, and even contagioning human rights workers on international flights. Meanwhile the letter in question apparently makes no demands, which would tend to suggest that it is either, 1) a aberrant act by a mentally disturbed person; or, 2) someone whose sole intent is to stir up trouble between the peoples of Australia and Indonesia.
As for claims of racism and vilating other countries sovereignty, Pierre would do well to remember that the Indonesian TNI is currently committing a racial genocide against the people of West Papua, that they have employed Laskar Jihad to buttist with the ethnic cleansing; and that it was Indonesia that attempted to invade West Papua with paratroops and naval attacks in 1961-62. That when Indonesian troops did get into West Papua, that it was Indonesia that started selling West Papua's resources in 1967, and that it was Indonesia which denied voting rights to the people of West Papua in their decision not to be part of Indonesia -- of which the TNI instead like clowns claimed this Melanesian Christian nation had unanimously decided to surrender their independence in favor of becoming a colony of a foreign Islamic power from Asia.
