Burma has produced tens of thousands of tons of drug throughout the entire history of PAP and Singapore has continued to conduct business investment and support the now illegal Govt. - It would appear that Singapore has turned a blind eye to drug issues in Burma for the pursuit of the $ from trading arms and the laundering of narco dollars in Singapore.
I was watching a movie Annie Hall (1977) on TV the other night. This is representative of problems some citizens of society are faced with. Annie is smoking joints - it is portrayed as the norm, acceptable and ok, and that the love is better. They get sucked in. Of course the irony is the behaviour is frowned on by the law. It has been estimated that 1,000,000 people consume injection in the USA on a weekly basis. 396gms is but a spit in the ocean for both the USA and Australia markets.

For the high amount of police in Singapore and the alleged low number of criminals convicted could mean that either the cops are on the take or they sit around with nothing to do - go figure!

Singapore is on the nose. The PAP have the smell of Burma and Iraq wafting on its books, foreign investment is cautious, not proceeding or they are pulling out, and Singapore's human rights record smells like poo.
