A most lousy excuse, though a tidy escape line.
Lousy relativist thinking, the bane of the modern world. You are an Einsteinian, evidently. Your entire worldview is, thus, totally wrong. No further discussion is necessary, still I'll continue for the heck of it.
The streetkid down on the corner that has spent
Quite, but he will never be the one who can go anything useful or creative. He will never inspire anyone, he can only keep on degrading, and contiue to exist in a disgusting reality that need not exist. It only exists because the leaders of his society have relativistic mindsets.
America at its best 3891Rifty Ho-ho. They just offer blind rejection. They do not show any understanding at all of what I am saying. Mere abuse does not amount to a pasting. Rather, it...
A very good question. You have to spend many years of hard work and study and experience a lot, to get the ability to know the answer. And if you are anything Einsteinian (that is, a populistic bullpooter, a pedlar of confusion, a waster of public funds, and a tall-poppy cutter), you will never get it.
No, blind faith does not come into the understanding of at least Indian mythology. Mythology is not fiction, it is transcendental truth; and you need reason and logic of the surpbutting kind for its proper comprehension. If you cannot have that, you'd better stick to very simple formulaistic mindsets. What North Indian Hindus say, taking a goli, or pill.
America at its best 3888Simply a statement of fact, I don't have the time to read through volumes of Indian mythology, some...
The ancient Greeks probably understood those myths far more correctly than you and your baptised-atheist-agnostic kind ever could. I believe I can understand all the wonderful European myths a lot better than any baptised European can. They do mean a lot to me. And they help me a great deal, to understand reality, and take reality beyond its present limits.
America at its best 3887Wojme Chukawobbly No, there is a huge, huge difference. Einsteinian physics is based upon a huge bungle. It is a lot of brilliant lies, packaged in high-sounding mumbo...
To you, maybe, yes. But your mind, please forgive me, to me, is very crude. You have no idea how to make sense from mythology, as a consequence. To you the Greek myths are no different from fairy tales. To me, they are not. If you could ever understand myth, you would have a healthy mind and body, and put all wankers out of business. In fact, to the extent you do unconsciously understand myth, you still are in possession of a healthy mind and body. Like, belief in one's football club and certain deified footie heroes has a therapeutic effect. Or faith in Christ, and other prophets.
What you consider facts (car accidents, teenage dissolutions, divorce, wars, disease, depression), are mostly disgusting aberrations that a superior mind should not consider worthy of even temporary presence. The fact that they do exist, is jam for those who profit from same (meaning all the godless non-engineering-type wankers: lawyers, social workers, politicians, salesmen, academics, doctors, the military-industrial complex, law enforcement, theologians etc.) and that lot would do anything to continue with such facts, and contine and project a worldview that retains those facts.
America at its best 3890Rifty I've noticed the instant reactionary responses, but the funny thing is he can actually be quite civil. In this thread for instance the tone from him to me is nothing...
If you are very happy with this world led by wankers, then fine - but you will not develop because you are so satisfied, and consequently degrade in due course. If you are not that happy, you will seek change. And mythology gives that transcendental truth, that makes people seek a better reality. The problem with the world is, what mythology to follow.
