Why do Americans in Japan always project their own problems onto other Gaijin?
On discussion forums they tell people it is impossible to work in Japan without a degree. Well there is something called a working holiday visa that anyone from a civilised country can get, and you can now work full time on it.
Thank gord the Japs don't have such an arrangement with the americans or japan would be overrun with americans saying things like "Don't anyone speak American round here?"
And that is not an exaggeration: research has shown that 40% of american high school seniors cannot name a single country in Asia.
WalMart eyes IndiaBANGALORE: Wal-Mart Stores Inc., the USD 288-billion global retail giant, is exploring the possibility of setting shop in India to cash...
Also Americans warn people how hard it is to get by in Japan because you have to save up to pay off "stooodent loan debts", whatever the f*** that is.

I'm flaming sick of their comments. They always say not to come to Japan because you don't know any japanese. Well actually I am majoring in it, as well as a major in a professional area.
I have to ask... if an american person at college is interested in japan and wants to come to japan - would it not occur to them to include japanese language in their college studies?? Hello?
Or are universities their so dumb as to not offer jap?
