Having respect for a fellow human, specially if that person contributes towards your financial wealth is the minimum everyone can expect in a civilised society.
But conservatives in power don't leave much from civilisation undisturbed. Empolyers at this stage have all succumbed to greed and the huge dollar signs gnome has invoked for them in return for cementing his power. Gnome has promised slaves and he delivers slaves.
Yea. Those good times back in the lovely dark ages when you could flog or even draw and quarter your serfs for not working hard enough for minimal sustenance are beaconing again.
That might be so. Fining people for not turning up sick at work was never covered by such laws. One infectious employee can close down a whole company for several days by making everyone sick too, including the boss. Morons who force such situations on their employees deserve to go broke, loose their every lasts cents and loose their rights ever to open a new business again.
That is fair and that is just.
Indeed. Grow up! Returning the society to conditions typical of times several centuries back in our past is not an option. Stop dreaming about it!
