Are we deceived by multiculturalism 385So now it is a "blended" culture" is it? How convenient. But no-one seems to know what the blend is. They hide behind statements like: Now, just how would you "say...

No, that's your style of argument - I would only acknowledge it, buttuming it was valid.
Perhaps I should have been more specific, despite the fact that the topic is "multiculturalism".
I was talking about how many people IN AUSTRALIA that you have met, etc who are non-white and-or immigrant.
You cannot comment on multiculturalism in australia based on experiences of cultures in other countries. What is of interest is Australian multiculturalism.
You exclaim that I would just play a "who can pee the longest" game, and then specifically ask me to give my answers? What a laugh. However, since you asked, I will give an outline of my answers (I had considered giving it in the original post, but decided against it).
Lets see... Outside my mother and her family, who immigrated from england, and my paternal grandfather's family, who are of jewish descent (and are of semitic appearance), my best friends were born in New Zealand (of Irish and Pacific descent), Hong Kong, plus a few born in australia. I have many friends of a variety of ethnic origins, some of whom are immigrants, or second-generation immigrants, and others of whom are simply non-white. I also have many friends whos families have been in australia for more than a century (including a few aboriginal friends). All of the above consider themselves Australians, although some celebrate christmas, while others dont, some are well-educated, others not, some place restrictions on what they can wear, others don't, some are left-aligned, some are right-aligned, some enjoy cricket, others find it boring - each is different, and they represent a spectrum of cultures, but all are Australians, and we all get along decently.
Your answers would not astound me when you limit it to Australians, I suspect. Oh, and I have no idea what you mean by "left relatives out of your 'must-know' list".
