This makes no sense whatsoever. Considering the source, little wonder, but I smell another beat-up here. "Further analysis"? What is that? The taste test? And after "further analysis" we need "further testing" to see what it is? Unbeef***ingleevable.
That doesn't make any sense either. If you don't know what the substance is, why guess at a 48 hour incubation time? None of the oldies-mouldies behave like this anyway. If it's bacillis anthracis, it's not human-human transmittable, if it's one of the filovirus lurgites, the incubation period is 5-10 days, and we don't have the ELISA tests for the virus anyway.
And if the moon should fall on my head, that too, would be a first.

1. I can think of dim people that could dream up a better method of delivering a bio-agent into a building. It's not hard.
2. How long does it take to stick something in a scope and find out what it is? An hour?
