I am a 24-year-old university student in S.Korea who is fanatic about Aussie Football. I encountered this exciting sport when i stayed in Perth, Western Australia to learn English....... So the clubs i went for were West Coast Eagles and Fremantle Dockers with no doubt.....In fact, I was slightly in favor of the Eagles 'coz Benny Cousins was my favourite player of the game... Anyway, from the first second i watched it, i just fell in love with it...... I think there is no sport on earth like Aussie Football which is so powerful and fast. Even though it has been 5 years by now since i left Perth, i still try myself to get updated with what is going on at the AFL by visiting the official website at www.afl.com.au However it keeps me wondering why this has to be played in Australia only.....and why only Aussies and other few Europeans know about this spectacular sport. I know AFL officials are trying to introduce Aussie Football to England by playing pre-season matches there , and Ireland by playing the International Rules after the season. How about ASIA?? I, as a member of the largest continent and population, would like to see the live actions here too. I am sure many people will like it just as i do. There are many people in Asia who cheer for NFL, NBA, and MLB. If AFL is introduced to Asia, you will make a lot of money by attracting SOME of them.
