Like I said, I have listed enough to demonstrate the damages to both sides,. if foolish Australian were to take action against us.
Australians can switch phone companies and the investment in Optus will be gone...the total investment at risk in Australia is 19.1 millions. We have to pay the price unless Singapore is prepared to kowtow to Australian pressure and change our law to please our would be colonial master. Would you?
To prepare for the worse, it is time the Singapore authority -- .1 warn all Singaporean students in Australia to keep indoors, or come back to Singapore before Dec. 2 if possible. ( for parents to telephone their children in Australia to discuss their contingency plans for emergency) .2 advise those who have booked tours to Australia for due December school holiday to change their destination to somewhere else, or to cancel their holiday plan for their own safety. .3 advise those on holiday now in Australian, to cut short their holiday and to come home immediately. .4 advise Business to be prepared to switch to vendors in other countries. at short notice ....for the supply of meat, fish, fruits, flour and other produce to prevent a gap in logistics. .5 advise Singapore high com. to be prepared to help Singaporean in Australia . .6 evaluate the possible damages and to take the necessary remedial actions.
If we do nothing now....we will be left to the mercy of Australian, If we do prepare for the worse now...and later no action was taken against us....we could treat it as an rehearsal exercise, like a civil defence rehearsals. It will cost plenty but it is necessary.
Bad boy.
