So according to Blowhardx and his racist theory, Australia WAS a nation ('UNIQUE ethnic and racial character' UNTIL the Europeans arrived.
By the same logic he would have to argue that England ceased to be a nation when the Anglo-Axaons were were brutally subjugated by the Norman invaders in 1066.
But that is incidental, what is clear from his definition is that Australia could never be a nation after European settlement because it was not 'unique' it was a transplant of European ethnics and their culture.
In the view of non-racists, of course, Australia BECAME a nation when elements of the foreign and indigenous cultures mingled and developed into something new, and unique. eg, when the foreigners took up the aboriginal game of football, with handpbutting and kicking, and shucked off the non-unique foreign import.

Of course, Blowhardx's emphbuttis on 'uniqueness' implies he still doesn't believe Australia is a nation, because it shares with the UK non-unique cricket, monarchy, etc.
How sad that you believe the nation of England, who 'clearly resisted colonisation but lacked the organisational and technological capabality to do so, ceased to be a nation when the Normans conquered them, and they became politically, economically and culturally subservient to the French.
