That is what I have suspected all along. There is no way the defence team going to use any evidence that will incriminate their client. That is why their strategy is to play for public sympathy from Aussie public. Hoping to get the Aussie government help to intervene on their behalf. Perhaps for a reducing sentence or to get Corby serving the sentence in Australia. I have watch a documentary about condition in Aussie minimum security prison while I was there and I can say, the condition there is pretty much better than some of the cheap hotel we have over here. You can even have a TV set, cook your own meal and keep a pet for god sake. And in one of its interviewed, they have shown one inmate crying when she knew she was about to be relase (Since she would rather prefer to continue staying there). Perhaps, that is why Corby rather prefer to serve her sentence back home. :)
Furthermore, according to what I have read, the package is neatly package into size that fit nicely into her luggage. (Which make it unlikely that it is an adhoc baggage handler job).
