From what I remember, Murlie got peeed off because people yelled out 'no ball' everytime he went to bowl.

They didn't hate him or his his race - they just stirred his bowling style.

The Sri Lankin supporters did exactly the same to Brett Lee - so what?

I will not say there were not racists in the crowd who slandered Murlie or the Sri Lankin team (although I did not hear them).

If there were, it was a minute minority, and I would guarantee that similar remarks were made against Australia from the Sri Lankin supporters as well.

That's human nature, and humanity certainly has its share of f***wits, especially when it comes to sporting spectators.

On a personal note I thought Murlie was the attraction of the match - he is a great bowler. He was the reason my family went to the cricket that day. And no, we didn't go to yell out 'no ball' - but to see the guy who will probably take over from Warnie as the greater spinner ever.

Takes you to bring race into it.

Artie...
