I am also of the opinion that there are many of the Islamic faith who want to live peacefully with those of other religions and none.
However, the commission of Jesus Christ was for His disciples and followers "to go and make disciples of all nations, baptising them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you". Matthew 28 : 19. That means to discuss with those of the Islamic faith the claims of Jesus Christ, buttisting them to reason whether Mohammed was the prophet to follow Jesus or whether Mohammed had many misunderstandings.
The information which I was given by one of the Islamic faith was that Jesus had said that one would come after him whose shoe laces he was unworthy to unloose. In the New Testament events, about 600 years before Mohammed, those words were spoken by John the Baptist of Jesus. Matthew 3 : 11.
I was told that the words Jesus was supposed to have said are written in the Koran. I have not found them in any websites that compare the teachings of Jesus and Mohammed nor in as much of the Koran that I have read..
