It just doesn't fit the facts.. and for people who pretend to follow rational evidence it amazes me that athiests so frequently resort to misunderstandings, mispresentation, and commonplace myths.
MOST criminals do not find God, most are bludgeoned by brutality into lesser and lesser compbuttion, and greater violence.
Christ did not find God as a fantasy escape from tough reality... he was living a comfortable life as an artisan AND DELIBERATELY PLACED HIMSELF ON A PATH THAT LED TO HIM BEING IMPRISONED, SCOURGED AND EXECUTED.

If they are correct, that the spirit, being non-material, does not perish as material things do, and that we prepare in this physical world by developing the spiritual capacities we will need in the next (just as fingers and eyes, useless in the womb are developed there for us in this world, but the embro, even if it had consciousness, would no more understand the coming purpose of those appendages than athiests understand the purpose of spiritual qualities. ;-)
Even if they are wrong about rest being limited to physical enbreasties, at least they spend their lives becoming people who act with compbuttion and integrity (which is why the Jewish, Muslim, Christian civilizations have been so strong and so enduring).
