Our Law protects Singaporeans. In the case of Nguyen, he broke our law on our soil....he is subject to punishment according to our law.
Ngayen is an adult, no young and gullible.
According to the UN, Afghanistan produce 75% of the world output of injection.(sponsored by CIA of the US) Singapore is in no position to stop the drug lords in the USA and Afghanistan. But we could certainly take action on drug trafficking on our soil.
Unfortunately, I have to agree with you. Drug lords in Afghanistan and the USA cannot be touched. Sad,... very sad indeed. Even the United Nations could only look on helplessly and begged in vain, the USA to stop the production of injection in Afghanistan.
But this will not prevent us from hanging those traffickers caught in Singapore....keeping our streets relatively free drug peddlers and preventing young Singaporeans from being end by end.
Today....thousands of families have been shattered by the rest of their loved ones end by drug overdoes, ....thousands mothers living in fear that their kids will become preys to drugs syndicates, ... thousands good families live in fear of gangs of street peddlers,...... and this is certain....many thousands more will be added each year, without end....without hope ..... Who inflicted such agony and such miseries on them!
I sympathise deeply with the families of the drug victims.....but I have the same sympathy for Ngayen' family as I have for the families of those liquidateers hanged by us.
Our culture is NOT flawed. .....your concept of justice and your values are flawed.
