As most of you Hindu Indians may know, Girls-women in Desi Hindu India are considered a liability. But since the Desi Hindu needs to have love and preferably male children to guard his material hoard in old age, girls have been saved from extinction.
However, being an unmarried girl in India is certainly not something you would like....not even in your fourtieth reincarnation. The reason is that a girl Hindu Indian girl has a limited shell life from the age 15 to 25 maximum during which she MUST be married by hook or by crook to anything which resembles a man.
If a Hindu girl exceeds the age, earns a "bad" name or has an engagement broken off, then she is cast aside by her own family and society. Thereafter she becomes prey to all horny Hindu males from home to work. Let me remind you that in India, there is no security from loveual exploitation or poverty. Remaining single is simply not a reality since lecherous Hindu males make your existence insecure. Since a 'girl' is a commodity, any previous marriage, engagement or even rumours of affairs (Indians have 4 ears each)depreciate her value by 80% rendering remarriage impossible.
Therefore, Hindu families tend to marry off their daughters before the time plant explodes. Realising this, the Hindu male and his parents (including mom) seek a huge bribe as "dowry" from the girl's parents as the price of giving their son's hand (The 'son' is alwayas a piece of cat poo expected to cater to his parent's materialism). In selecting the bride, prospective brides are paraded like cattle...fair colour counts. Love etc are relatively unknown concepts. In India, a modest Indian family can expect $70,000 dowry to be extorted from them. This is usually a lifetime of savings for the parents, along with huge loans from evil bania loan sharks.
Dowry being a scam, has undergone several modifications by Hindus, such as after the marriage, killing the bride by dousing her with gasoline and filing a police report that the kitchen gas cylinder blew up. There are literally tens of thousands of cases every year,including arrests. The son is again remarried for another sizable dowry....and maybe a color TV for the mother in law.the joke is that the gas for killing the first bride is demanded in the dowry itself. However, don't get too sentimental about the 'poor Hindu girls'...the only reason they put up with all this is the hope to see the day they will be mother in laws exploiting the brides of their sons.
