BHARAT, U.S. MAKE A TECTONIC MOVE

As I've written elsewhere-- beware of our US "friends." The neoconservatives who run the American foreign policy establishment have no intention of enabling Bharat to rise to the strength that we deserve and are determined to swat us down if we become too powerful or buttert ourselves too much. They, like the British, see us as easily manipulable coolies in their proxy wars (these days China is their bogeyman), and are determined to weaken us first indirectly by pitting India against their perceived enemies, then destroying the Indian economy if we're left standing.

Notice that the USA has worked vigorously to block India's entry onto the UN Security Council as a permanent voting member, despite our importance as a world cultural, economic and population center, and despite the fact that we contribute way out of proportion to UN security missions-- lots of Indian blood shed in the past decade-- as well as UN dues. (Insult is added to injury, furthermore, by the fact that we were denied our rightful seat on the council since, at the UN's founding, we were still a British colony. Yet another way in which the British still screw India to this day.) The betrayal could not possibly be more infuriating, especially since a has-been like Britain does have a seat on the Security Council! This is clbuttic Anglo-American treachery-- pretend friendship while they feel they can manipulate us, then turn around and cut India down when we try to act as a truly sovereign nation with our own interests, and they don't see as still being useful.

Also, remember that one of the ultimate objectives for US leaders with India is the destruction of Hinduism and the Hindu culture. Those same US leaders who are feigning friendship with India right now are also heavily funding aggressive missionary evangelical Christian groups that preach virulent hatred about Hinduism as a "pagan" religion to be replaced with their own sick, warmongering version of Christianity. They send thousands of aggressive and often brutal missionaries to India who use the old-fashioned tactic of forced conversions, or outright deception to trick people into converting. (E.g., the clbuttic ugly tactic of giving a sick person a non-functioning "Hindu" medicine and a working "Christian" antibiotic, thus getting a duped convert in the process.)

Be wary of the US, especially the neocons who try to pit India against other countries, or who try to claim India as being within "the US orbit." We are in nobody's orbit but our own-- we are a strong and ancient country with our own interests, and the US had better finally accept that. In fact, India would probably benefit most from a trade partnership with China, considering that the US seems intent on setting new annual deficit records. The US can start getting a clue by halting this treacherous opposition to India's bid for a permanent UN Security Council seat. Otherwise, all their efforts are little more than distracting flattery to hide the knife the US neocons are ardently holding behind them, ready to stab India to rest when they feel the opportunity is available.
