To be honest I'm all for letting people wear what they want to wear as long as it doesn't impact on the rights of anyone else. For instance the girl over East that wanted to be a cop but be allowed to wear the all over face covering gear, I don't think she should have been allowed to get away with that, if she's not willing to wear the official uniform for the job, then go and bloody work somewhere else. And equally if a school enforces a uniform then everyone should have to wear it, no exceptions, but if a school allows one student to choose their own choice of dress then everyone should be able to wear their choice of dress. In general though I've got no problems with people wearing religious garb if it's not hurting anyone else or impacting on what they're being paid to do.
But if any sort of a ban were to be put in place it would be fairly hypocritical unless it was all encompbutting, and if it were all encompbutting then there is no reason to specify Muslim garb, merely to say that the uniform will be worn with no exceptions would suffice.
Fair enough then, you ain't a hypocrite like petzl.
