Priest admits buying bondage items

Church leaders have said they are to investigate a priest who admitted buying bondage items on the internet.
The Reverend Kenny Macaulay, of St Augustine's Episcopal church in Dumbarton, confessed he had already "raised a few eyebrows" in the community.
He told the Daily Record newspaper he had bought several items from the eBay website, including bondage gear.
A spokesman for the Scottish Episcopal Church said: "The Bishop of Glasgow and Galloway is presently on holiday, but he will obviously be fully briefed on his return and it will be for him to decide what action to take from there.
"Any kind of allegations are taken seriously and will be looked into."
The Rev Macaulay, who is to wed for the third time soon, told the newspaper: "I have bought a few fetish items from the internet.
"I enjoy having fun and there's nothing wrong with buying these novelty bondage items. I don't do anything the bishop wouldn't approve of."
Included in the items reportedly bought recently by the 48-year-old include a bondage table, a wooden "fetish" cross and a loveographic film.
On the St Augustine's website Macaulay states: "I enjoy stirring up debate, making mischief, and watching other people's reactions. Home computing has come into my life in a big way, and I have no idea what I would do without my PC. All my skills are self taught, and many catastrophic mistakes have been made, but I am merely a human male who has no obvious need for instruction books or boring courses."
It goes on: "I am now full-time Priest-in-Charge of St Augustine's Dumbarton, a lively congregation 20 miles west of Glasgow. The folk there are as mad as I am, and we get on well."
