Court call for mom in scandal Can she see her kids? A court-appointed law guardian is set to tell a Westchester Family Court judge whether secretary Laura DeFilippo should be let into her home and allowed to see her kids.
DeFilippo, 46, was caught on tape last month spending 51-2 hours at a Hamptons motel with her boss, Msgr. Eugene Clark, 79. They have denied having an affair, but soon after the video became public, Clark resigned his post running St. Pat's.
DeFilippo's estranged husband, Philip, filed for divorce this month. He also got an order of protection barring her from their Eastchester home after telling cops that she threatened to stab him when he confronted her about the tape.
Family Court Judge Kathie Davidson appointed the law guardian to investigate the situation and report back to her.
In addition to the video, which was recorded by a private detective, Philip DeFilippo's case is bolstered by a statement from the couple's 14-year-old daughter that she saw her mother and the priest in a compromising position at Clark's Long Island vacation home.
There was no mention of the scandal during yesterday's Mbutt at St. Patrick's, where Clark's name has been stripped from the program and from signs outside the cathedral.
But the unholy mess was on the minds of visitors, including electrical contractor Lenny Lebeau, 58.

"He should be reprimanded. He knew the consequences," said Lebeau, of New Bedford, Mbutt.
Others harbored a bit of sympathy for the monsignor.
"I think it's very sad," said Maria Burgos, 29, a teacher visiting from Los Angeles. "Ultimately, God knows what's in the heart of man, so it's really sad to hear, but we won't judge."
Accountant Andrea Bruner of Murray Hill agreed.
"It's unfortunate, but that's not going to stop me from coming to church," Bruner, 22, said after Mbutt. "This religion is built on forgiveness. I wouldn't be too quick to judge."
