Naturally, culture is not limited to ethnicity, as the English example shows (mixture of AngloSaxon-Viking-Picts-Scots-Romans-Normans? etc etc)
The culture is of course not static, it changes with regular changes to ethnic mixes and cross cultural influences in our unavoidably multicultural world.
Thus we share writing on paper with the Chinese, the concept of Zero with Indian mathematicians, AlGibra with Muslims, morality with middle Easteners like Jesus and so on...
At the core of true blue beliefs, and may explain why we have such a successful, peaceful and tolerant multicultural society, is our belief in A Fair Go For ALL!! All means EVERYONE, no exceptions on the basis of skin colour or any other minor difference.
Other values honoured by fair dinkum true blues are Lending a helping hand (especially to the new chum, or to a mate in trouble eg Tsunami victims) A wry self deprecation and scathing humour directed at pompous authorities (eg P.M. R Slicker, or Ned The Whineing Net Nanny ;-)
