There is much discussion with the GLW into sending our children to Malaysia or Singapore for secondary education so your buttumprions are incorrect. Big reason for that is that the education standards in Singapore and Malaysian private schools are so far higher than Australian schools.
First of all My children visit their grand parents in Malaysia about twice a year so they are used to Asia very well.
When I retire and live there my children will be old enough to decide for themselves and I don't expect them to follow me. Maybe if the daughter gets a diplomatic post in Singapore or Malaysia when she grows up, we could see each other more likely

Thirdly I am sick and tired in paying a poo load of taxes just because I am wise enough to prepare for my retirement and being taxed heavily as the government thinks I am sort of rich when I just work hard. That is why a good portion of my investments are outside of Australia's greedy hands.
However it is not as good especially when I have to pick the kids up from the school when they should be walking because it is not safe etc.
It is not as good but I have a contract to fulfil because I have a business and travelling emigrating to Singapore or Malaysia of an Australian citizen does not work well even though wife is Malaysian. I can retire there however.
