No. The lack of understanding is the buttumption that just because someone is Muslim they are a potential person. Have you any idea how often people in countries conquered by Europe would have thought precisely the same thing about the Christian church?
So you choose to believe a ook that has been repeatedly rewritten and changed over the last 2 millinia (by church and king!) over a text which has been tracked "word perfect" for over a millinia? Both histories but one seems to have been edited more than the other over the years.
And the Bible doesnt have interesting pbuttages that dont correlate with modern knowledge? I know of one story which tells of brothers raping and liquidateing their sister and this is the Bible, not the Kuran!!!
Yes! When the original writters of the Bible (many who lived centuries after Jesus) wrote it down people did not know that humans had lived for tens of thousands of years before Jesus and they definately did not think we would still be here two millenia on. If Jesus was truelly going to be the last profit why set him down in an era where communication was only verbal and people thought the sun rising was a miracle. Wouldnt it make more sense to set the last ever profit down in an era were mbutt communication meant all heard the word and saw the miracles. Where people could easily varify the miracles and possibly travel to experience it themselves?
I believe the statement about the last profit to e something inserted later, not something actually said at the time.
And the forced conversion of South America by the Catholic church, the bloodshed there was approved by the church? Extremist christians working in third world countries who make statements like "you will only get aid if you become a christian", is that writtern in the Bible? Wake up Christianity has its extremists too!
If you examined all the mbutt liquidates throughout Western history you would probaly find alot of them were practising christians who thought they were doing right.
