Very true, just as there is a big difference between being born into Islam or being converted into hard-core Wahabi style Islam. There is also the third option, and it exists in a big way around the world, people being converted into a moderate form of Christianity or Islam. Have you not heard of plenty of people who did not believe in god but then decide they now believe and have converted to Christianity, but not to the extent of becoming raving born-again Potter's House style loons??? Just a mellow belief in Christianity??? I would suggest that this model has done the same with Islam.
A hell of a lot actually. I was on a peeup on Friday arvo where amongst about 20 of us 3 were Muslim (there was also 1 Hindu and a handful of Christians too), and 2 of those 3 were quite happy to have a drink, and the third had no problems with the rest of us drinking, just chose not to drink himself. You seem to only be looking at the extremes, not the vast majority who are just every day people like you and me.
What does drinking and partying have to do with "prosbreastuting themselves"?
Wanna bet??? We were taken over there by an Islamic girl, and she was quite happy to drink with us in the bars.
