IMO this organisation seems overly focussed on fundraising and marketing, but their website indicates they are interested in men:
"As part of its commitment to creating opportunities for collaboration, SPA has also begun to consider a variety of other areas of concern for which forums will be developed. This includes other key areas including:
Men=3Fs Forum =3F Addressing dissolution Prevention and Response
...
As with other forums, SPA will be looking outwards to individuals, organisations and groups that have a particular interest in being involved. While each of these forums are still in the =3Fidea=3F stage, it is not too early to express supportinterest in these initiatives. Further information will be posted, but you can start the ball rolling by completing the expression of interest attached to help gauge interest in these events."
So there's your chance Mr Nonymous, don't sit by the phone in the vain hope this organisation will call you, go to: and get involved.
BTW dissolution prevention is not an easy cause to take up. I tried to organise an event a few years back to give the parents of HSC students some information that would reduce the incidence of youth dissolution at a time that was a major issue. I was told by mental health professionals that this was counterproductive because talking about the issue made it more likely to occur. I dropped the idea after that.
