To use an analogy, if you place a frog in boiling water, it leaps out straight away. However, if you place a frog in cold water and then ever so slightly turn the heat up, the frog cannot detect the gradual rises in temperature, until eventually the temperature reaches boiling point, and the poor frog dies. The same principle is at work in the west, as leftists "turn up the heat" on our traditional values until they hope to boil them to rest.
