Nguyen.

There is no dispute that he had committed a serious crime, but to argue that he deserves rest penalty surely is out of proportions.

It was his first foreign trip outside Australia, 22 years of age. The drugs he carried were meant for Australia consumptions, harming the society of Australia, and could not possibly hurt Singapore. He was on transit.

After all had been said and done, the colors of many folks were revealed. He that is without sin cast the first stone. In our zeal to protect Australian from the curse of Drugs, and our systems refused others to use our place as transit as courier, draconian laws were in place.

The self-righteousness of some people are really staggerings,and some who hope that his life should be spared, from PM Howard to many good folks around the world, bless our souls to know that there are truly many kind-hearted souls. It brings out the best and worst in all of us.

Our society does not seem to know about the virtues of showing mercies to others. Such virtues are frequently frowned upon as weak and lacking resolve for important issues.

Why we must display ourselves as one who is hardened and cold towards humanity when they commit crimes? The rationale is that, it will act as deterrence to criminals, and they shouldn't be even thinking about it. It works most of the time, but hardly is there any measurement whereby we can safely say it is infallible.

We had hanged a lot of guys already. Examples were made and many have seen our inhumane atbreastude pertaining to criminals of non-violent crimes, destined them to gallows for many years. New studies must be made as to how best to serve our society, for her best interests, and we should improve ourselves, because our survival and livelihood depends on one another and the interactions with world community.

It is extremely foolish, to have fixation of thoughts, claiming our systems are the best, and therefore infallible. There is room for improvements.

It is so easy in our hectic life, and our zeal to get our own agendas done, we became callous, merciless and live in a dreamy world, devoid of compbuttions and feelings.

I remember a Taxi driver, whose livelihood depends on the earnings per day, felt disgusted that a crippled woman on wheelchair, slowly adjusting herself into the Cab. It inconvenienced him, that he swore never be so kind again. Most cab driver avoids helping the Old and the handicapped because they used up a lot of their time.

Some lose the sense of kindness, and prioritize their own survival above others.

Many people believed in being selfish, and strongly held belief that good deeds done for others normally go unappreciated.

Even as some good folks trying to feel sympathy for Nguyen, and they were being rebuked.

If the world has no retributions, or an after life, and the principles of reaping and sowing were a farce, and all secret deeds done will not be acknowledge somewhere and be bless in returns, there is no logic to be kind and merciful. What are worst, people actually believed that all secret deeds done, or evil one does, there is no Video watching them.

There is a God, and all deeds will be expose in the Day when He shall come, taking vengeance on all who trivial His warnings and serious commands.

The only constraints that will bring humanity to sanity, is the fear of God, and His coming wrath.

The most important realities confronting us must be, is there really an after-life, and a God who truly watches our every deeds and actions? If we believe in God, constraints will be in our souls, otherwise we will display, as the scriptures There is no fear of God in their eyes, and they removed the dread of God from their heart and souls, thus hardening to do evil. The conscience is dead.

The words of Jesus must not become meaningless, for Jesus teach: Fear God, for it is He who shall destroy both the bodies and souls in Hell, if you stray from the paths of Righteousness.

Nguyen had repented from his sins, and he will be meeting his Savior in bliss for all eternity soon, as tomorrow he will be hang in the gallows, and walk in the chambers of rest.

Our world has no saviour, but there is a true Saviour, the Messiah, Lord Jesus who alone decide our eternity of bliss and curse. God have mercy on his soul already, but have we shown him Mercy?

As Jesus replied to the condemned man, today you shall be with Me in Paradise, it is every words true and honest, and Jesus kept His promise without fail.

We all have broken the Laws of God and deserved punishment much worst than Nguyen, and wonderfully this God intend to show mercies on us.

We are all in need of this mercies more than anything. It is very dangerous to play with Drugs, and it is even more dangerous to fool with this Eternal problems of ours, trifling His Words and warnings, just as Nguyen ignore, or ignorant of the consequences of trafficking on Drugs.

Be forewarned, trafficking with Drugs had dire consequences. Be forewarned, ignorant of God's words will lead to Eternal regrets, and horrors and sorrows.

It is appointed for man to die once, and after rest, true Judgments ensued..The Holy Scriptures.
