Asking questions is not McCarthyism. It's getting to the bottom of things. Police tend to do it. So do detectives. It's known as (wait for it), questioning. Since an average Aussie can be stopped on the streets and asked questions by the cops whenever the cops feel like it, what makes this guy so special? If he's got nothing to hide I'm sure he'll have no probs answering the questions will he?
You don't know that he's committed no crime. Before Dahmer was asked questions you'd have been rabidly screaming that he'd committed no crime so should have to answer no questions. You'd have been the defender of he who rapes and liquidates children. Seeing the flaw in your logic yet?
As is your lack thereof whenever it is PC to lack curiosity. Funnily enough you tend to be very curious on any occasion it is PC to be curious.

But since those govts have been charged with no crimes they are obviously innocent (according to your own argument) and should not have to answer any questions (according to your own argument). Hypocrisy getting a little bright there.
