Thanks to Mr. Gillen to get me Googling. I find this MOST interesting - given all those who knew Harvey Berish was a convicted child molester (preferring pre-pubescents) and standing by for all this.
There are other reasons that the Orange County Register might not receive Mr. Berish and friends of his quite so welcomingly - given history. I can also personally testify to some people at the Los Angeles Times being sick of a loada bullpoo - except, perhaps, those "reporters" benefitting therefrom and not exactly reporting objectively what's being told to them - and what said "reporters" say in order to elicit more information...
1977 VK (and other DCI tours) would have also been different - had we known how we were being lied to, most expertly in fact - no doubt in ways which have been going on for decades.
For those who remember this and were used, check out Harvey on the Megan's Law website in California. Most ironic - and karmic - how Harvey's choice of destination has worked.
