You missed out one something, the Americans is the aggressor of Vietnam, the Vietcong is the first known freedom fighters agaisnt western powers, in the case of the current war the Islamic person have no right to be there in Lebanon as it is a sovereign land and in so doing it means that either Lebanon is either being blamed for hosting person on the Israeli border or it is too weak to impose its own military on the person, in anyway that long stretch of time in between has not been made into good use by any Arabs nation or Lebanon itself to flush out or persuade the Hisbola person to close shop so when after this poo has been exploded beyond control, no one is having any moral righteousness to criticized Israel's "misadventure" for the reason of self preservation amidst a hostile and deadly adversary who knows no rules in a civilized exchange of political&military ethnics. The current deadly conflict is not the same as Vietnam, as this war is about religious hatred towards another country so no established facts in history will work as a sensible argument of why they should stop, religious people like these don't talk facts, they only believe in their version of reality and you might be surprise that in this modern age of innovation and human progress there exist such a dark specter against the common intellectual progress that man has made on this earth since our forefathers toiled the soils and strifes with the wild animals in order to secure a dinner for his family.
