Hello folks..... Here are a few suggestions:-
1) Instead of using platic explosive, use tons of firecrackers where all the wick is tied to a lighting point. I've tried with a boox of red small firecrackers and I use one stick of firework and poke through the middle of the box of firecrackers and light the firework. (The end of the handle of the firework is bent so that the box of firecrackes could remain standing). What happens is the firework burns into the box and the whole firecrackes burst with bright fire. What I could say is replace the firecrackers sound with the explosion noise to get the blast effects.
2) When a movie require a car to drop off the walled bridge, strong steel protection cable holding the car and the back of the car so that shouldl there be any problem with the car stuck out half oof the way and stop, the back of the cable will pull back the car from falling and the stuntman could press a button on his car seat so that he can fall back behind the seat and get out of the car from the left backdoor. A form of safety feature.....
This recommendation is something done by safety officer an hope its useful for film makers.....
