Those are not traits. Those are inherent and innate capabilities or characteristics. Or do you perhaps think that biology is mutable?
Homoloveuals finally take on Islam HahHAH! 21pedro Never said that they were traits. I said that perhaps they meant "spiritually equal", or "philosophically equal", or "innately equal". The second question was an extension of the first, not a completely separate...
I have, and I still fail to see your point. The attributes, characteristics, abilities- call them what you will- of a person that become apparent as they grow to maturity, were still present in the genetic makeup when the person was 'created'. No two persons are identical, so how can all men be equal, or created equal? The only argument you have is that persons are of equal worth, but that depends on a philosophical position, not a factual one. Nazi's do not regard non-Aryans of equal worth as human beings. And if we look at the situation objectively, how can some ignorant peasant in some primitive society be of equal worth to a brilliant scientist or surgeon at the cutting edge of their field, who could make some significant contribution to the knowledge and-or welfare of mankind? Was the late Kerry Packer the equal of some dope smoking semi-alcoholic on the dole? And the doctrine of equality is not one that is practised in the real world anyway.
I consider it to be a self-evident truth that all men are NOT created equal. That they are, is a philosophical argument.
