There hasn't been a major war for a long time, it seems humanity almost needs a regular purging of bloodlust, hatreds and so on. Because millions of Westerners were end during WWII it has largely removed the desire for conflict while the Third World is now ready and willing with millions of eager youth ready and willing to go to war.
Meanwhile Westerners are pacified, apathetic (to the point that they have to be urged by governments to even reproduce) and in denial - largely aided and abetted by the left who simply chant the old mantras of poverty, privilege, alienation etc. when in reality the only solution when faced by an culture so different from your own is to either buttimilate it or be buttimilated by it - inevitably by force.
Sadly while our enemies are stirring the West continues its lotus dream in the haze comfortable consumerism, meaningless pop culture and all the other aids of distraction and denial.
