International Stuff 1774Lester Mosley - FYI: Hello Lester, thanks for the inspiring and fruitful "international stuff" and some other talks before - and...
I suppose so, but I have never seen "Veronica Mars". I think she will be more famous after she's made a movie. Mars has been on 3 years now, and I managed to forget to which it, even though one of my favorite actors is the star, her father: Enrico Colantoni. I've admired his acting skills for many years. That's because the theme of the show appeals to teens, not to adults. Thus, it's not on the top of my list for watching.
I've actually been there but that wasn't what would interest me in the US, so I didn't spend much time there when I was in Vienna. Interesting tourist spot.
I see.
Because it made me think, made me consider which were people and which weren't, and made me wonder if it was someone famous. I also wondered where exactly the shot was taken, and what might have been in the background.
It's good because I don't have to take time off from work, and because I don't have to drive my car for long periods of time. The latter is an activity that bothers my eyes. It's raining here, we have received 10 inches of rain already here. When it is rainy or foggy or dusky, light diffuses in such a way that makes it very difficult to see, judge distances, focus. It confuses me and I don't like to spend time on highways anyway, and when the road is wet, it is already full of idiots who can't drive. Added me to the mix isn't good for me or the rest of the world.
I am particularly intrigued by the next step, which could be good. Allegedly, there is a surveillance photo available that implicates the defendant. Allegedly, there is another witness who will testify in such a way to make the hearing outcome more certain. So, there is some hope that the defendant asked for a postponement in order to consider the evidence in contemplation of probable plea of guilty.
The only bad side is that I won't get to stay with and see my friends from DC. It's sort of weird because most of my friends are there now.
Incidentally, if you haven't seen "Memoirs of a Geisha", do so. It's a sweet love story in some ways. (kinda creepy in others). But the photography and details are amazing.
