But the fact remains the same as it did for many dacades before the war started.
The fact is Saddam, his sons, his relatives, his thugs, Baath party and almost the entire Sunni population of Iraq have established a very savage and brutal dictatorship terrorising Kurds, pooes, Turks and others in Iraq and plundering the country. Not only that, Saddam and his thugs was a manace to World peace with his unrelentaing imperailistic ambitions beyond the borders of Iraq. Those thing were never inportant to his supporters and beneficiaries of his crimal activities (Germany, France, Russia and others) in Europe and elsewhere.
He managed to hide or destroy his WMDs or transfer them to his fellow persons (thanks to his supporters in Europe and else where), and refused to cooperate with the UN inspectors giving all the indications that he had them.
