fyi While that's a good first step, it's insufficent and possibly misleading if you base one's salvation on just that verse. JC is reported to have said (in the first 4 New Testament books) that being saved involves alot more than mere words and a desire to live in heaven. He also said that the words of the heart are reflected in action and deed. JC's heavenly forgiveness-pardon only wipes out past sin-transgressions and not future ones, so those who continually do wrong by the Almighty are not saved.
There is no most accurate versions of the bible. The bible is a canonized collection of translations from larger group of ancient jewish-greek scrolls-books ( some which are not included in the Bible ). All *book-letters* in the Holy Bible are mere translations from ancient scrolls none of were originally in English. IIRC the original scrolls which are the source of the Bible are mainly written in Greek, Hebrew, and some middle eastern region dialect. Reading multiple english versions of the Bible provides one an idea of how these translations differ and what core ideas all the translators agreed was the original intent of the writers of the Bible.
