Lester Mosley - FYI:

Hello Lester,

International Stuff 1775
Yeah, you said that you like various (European) languages. For other readers: Kopf is head. in Ukrainian, to kick = kopaty, with emphasis on 1st syllable...

thanks for the inspiring and fruitful "international stuff" and some other talks before - and, first of all, I wish you a successful HAPPY NEW YEAR!

How about your project of writing some stories on your last European trip (as announced some months ago)?

Marika Kusznir, I suppose, is meanwhile a director. She wrote on Dec. 8, 2005: "I just will say that I have 10 territories to manage, and the field is basically 'operations' - essentially managing workflow, budget, personnel, policies and that sort of thing." But she mentioned, just prior to Xmas, that she's got some computer problems (etc?) and she's taking "time out". I hope she's fine. Are you still in personal contact with her?

We've watched on German TV the horrible West Virginian coal mine accident that caused 12 dead people. -

At about the same time, the collapse of an ice rink's building (under the pressure of lots of 'wet snow') at the Bavarian town Bad Reichenhall (famous spa!) resulted in (up to now) 15 dead skaters

You may recall our talks on Nashville, etc. -

Our former German "it"-girl, Ariane Sommer - a book author, columnist and TV moderator - who lives in the US (Manhattan and L.A.), is currently on a road-trip to Charleston (South Carolina), Nashville (Tennessee), and so on. She blogged at BUNTE-T-online an amusing story about a dinner at a famous steakhouse - Morton's - eating lobster, etc. (see her pics!) -

She placed two further blogs which I reported on recently -

CU, Frank
