o that's wonderful

The Grammy's were awesome.

Mariah Carey won big and looked beautiful.

I missed Madonna

Your fave Gwen Stefani had many nominations but I don't think she won. They showed her frequently in the audience but I didn't catch what fashion statement she was making. The tabs say she was wearing leopard print.

They had a live performance with a set of famous rappers (Jay Z and Linkin Park) singing-sampling Beatles song "Yesterday", fade, and out comes Sir Paul McCartney to join them. HE apparently sang other songs too but I missed that.

Then, a medley of Sly and the Family Stone hits, with various performers. Very amusingly, they started with Joss Stone on a song about family

marika ¡ ¡ ¡ ¡ ¡ ¡ Nowadays, WE (The Bloggers & Co) have to do "his" potential afterlife-job, i.e., maybe, to explain LOVE in our "what the heck of a hell" times. But, as...

Family, Stone, get it?

Some of the other performers were awful (Fantasia from American Idol) and mbuttacred the originals so badly they became unrecognizable.

Sly (looking pretty frail) but wearing a huge blond mohawk allowed me to want to get up and dance. He sounds great but it was pretty obvious that they took the cameras off because the energy didn't last. Still, I loved every minute of seeing and hearing him. His songs are wonderful.

And then Kanye West and Jamie Foxx did GoldDigger. That ROCKED.

I am watching BBC news and they showed the fistfight in the Ukrainian Duma and covered the president's request to rewrite the consbreastution.
