marika State of the Union speech by George W. Bush, yesterday
Yeah, maybe mostly, but not always as, I felt, I had noticed.
*HEALTH CARE*
International Stuff 1885marika Yeah :) It needs, maybe, to be worked hard at trying to initiate a general change of the consciousness of some rather stupid young girls 'and their influencing personal environment', nowadays. Many...
I saw e.g. Hillary Clinton with a bright smile in her face when George spoke about the health care system. I don't know whether he took up on the same issues that she tried to put through for the Democrats years ago (and finally failed)?
International Stuff 1886Frank Kalder That is just one picture. to maximize earnings potential of buttets that are well remunerated, and they are trying to do so before those buttets depreciate. They take a perfectly...
Would you think she'll be the next US President?
*OIL ADDICTION*
However what George said to overcome the Americans "oil addiction" was in good shape and follows those political concepts we have in Germany and in the EU. Getting down the dependency from the Arabic states by 75% until 2025! Preparing concepts for the alternative energy sources and promote them top-politically. I heard the words "wind" and "nuclear". He spoke about getting hybrid (H2) and pollution-free electro cars into the market on a short term (in about 6 years, IIRC). I don't recall if he said something about solar energy concepts (?).
In Europe and world-wide 'Shell Solar' is the leader in the development of solar systems. I noticed formerly, when analysing the world's energy resources exploration concepts, that - in US - a solar program that 'Exxon Mobil Corp.' tried to launch had rather failed because of the restrictive US Government's atbreastude not to support it fully financially as would be required. Maybe there is some stuff on that in this article
Dan Froomkin washingtonpost.com asked yesterday in a headline
"State of the Bubble?"
"President Bush's State of the Union address last night was so lacking in novelty or details that it has served as a Rorschach test of sorts for the media. What's the lead? What does it all mean? There are lots of different answers to that question..." -
Cute quote :)
International Stuff 1884marika Yeah, sorry, it requires quite some time until it's loaded because there is - technically speaking - a tremendous...
