Don't agree, religions are fairy-tales used for many things. Used by extremists as a cattle prod, used by the weak-minded as a mental crutch, used by the apathetic to say they're a member of a religion even though they don't actually follow any religion, and used by people like me to point out that the world still bases most of its' policies on fairy-tales so we haven't really come that far from the flat-Earth days.
People just want to get along, it's simple as that, the vast majority of people of any colour-religion-creed don't want trouble, they just want to live their lives, but their are exceptions like yourself and al queda, who have no common race-religion or creed, which makes it pointless to pick any of these as an identifier.
As for Rodney King, he was a wife and child beater and a thief and a poobag, he deserves anything that happens to him. That being said a bunch of heroic cops continuing to beat f*** out of someone after he's down and out hardly surprises me, even our own Perth cops are nothing more than violent thugs that happen to get a license from the state government to legitimise their criminal activities.
