Yes they are, Xmas lunch this year had 3 Muslims I work with doing exactly that just for starters. Only one is a drinker (formerly from Bosnia), the other will have a token drink or two and that's it after one very bad experience with too much alcohol a while back (formerly from Indonesia), the third one wont go near alcohol which is why we got a photo of him with a jug in one hand and a tinny in the other (formerly from Pakistan). Good people just wanting to get along with everyone else, one of whom is one of my best mates.
