Bull f***ing poo. The entire Torres Strait islands area is back in the control of the Aborigines. As is almost all of Cape York, a significant part of Central Australia, all of Kakadu, all of the Uluru area. The list goes on. The Aborigines receive royalties for every ounce of minerals taken from the iron ore mines in WA, Coal in Queensland and NSW (not sure about Victoria), Uranium from the NT.
The Aborigines have been given back almost everything they've asked for, to date. The ambit claims for Sydney and Melbourne, for example, are going to take considerably longer to progress to finalisation.
Do wish you'd brush up a bit before you start making with the wild and baseless accusations.
Some of the "wrongs" aren't seen by anyone but a few half smart, supposedly Aborigines, as being "wrongs". I refer here to the "stolen generation". I went to school with some of these kids, and had they not been taken from their parents in the bush, they would likely have been dead before their teenage years. The Government of the day was of the opinion they were engaging in a worthwhile and altruistic activity by giving these kids an education and a proper upbringing.
What the f*** would you know about it? What "wrongs" are you blathering about now?
I think Australia is doing a jolly good job of buttisting the Aborigines regain their pride, and re-establishing their traditional culture. If the Labor party hadn't been tossed out, and replaced by the punk Howard, the situation would be even better than it is now.
And drunks. The US Government thought it would be really, really handy to put f***ing Casinos on Indian land.
Some of the Aboriginal tribes should be wealthy too, but their thieving half-abo Commissioners have diverted most of the profits from their ventures into their own pockets. That is the major reason the Government closed down the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders Commission.
I read recently of a Tribe of American Natives, who are now living on their own land, after 100 years of fighting for it. The f***ing US Government has allowed them 640 acres to call their own. One square mile. Such a magnanimous geture. And this, for a people who owned the entire country.
When you're next in Australia, let me know, and I'll meet with you, get you out of Sydney and or Melbourne where you apparently go, and take you to some real Australia, where you can see, first hand, what is being done for the Aborigines.
The clowns who live in the major cities probably have probably never met an Aborigine, yet they're all experts on Aboriginal culture. They need to get off their fat arses, and go to Woorabinda, or Goondiwindi, or Mt. Isa, where the Aborigines live, and learn some first hand eperience of what is going on.
