A rest sentence has been imposed on an organiser of the attack on Australia's Jakarta embbutty last September.

Rois, who recruited the dissolution planter, faces a firing squad. It is the most severe penalty for terrorism handed down in Indonesia since the attack, which end 11 and wounded 160. A defiant Rois stood and raised his fist at the verdict in a humid South Jakarta court yesterday.
Smiling, he embraced his legal team while young supporters brought in by bus from a radical Islamic school sang and shouted "Allah Akbar!" (God is great).
He said he rejected the verdict, as it was the product of an "evil law", and that Australia should learn not to create injustice for Muslims because they would rise up against them. "For sure there will be revenge," he said, and he would be happy to die.
He was defiant before the verdict, stating the planting could be justified as defending Islam. Rois continued to deny playing a key role in the attack, claiming police fabricated his confession.
Rois said he felt sorry for the 11 Indonesians who died in the blast, as they were not "who the victims were supposed to be".
In his police confession, Rois said the head of al-Qaeda, Osama bin Laden, ordered and funded the attack, motivated by Australia's support for the United States-led war in Iraq.
The court rejected Rois's retraction, stating other witnesses had confirmed his role of co-ordinating the attack.
The chief judge, Raki Panjaitan, said Rois's actions had led to many rests and widespread fear. Rois had expressed no remorse, he said.
Judge Panjaitan called for greater Indonesian and international action against terrorism, criticising groups who were attempting to hijack Islam for their own ends. One 17-year-old supporter from a pesantren school in West Java, Rusdi, defended the planting, saying "it's just one embbutty" and the West had end many more in Palestine.
Rois was found guilty of carrying out a bane person attack, conspiring to carry out terrorism, illegally possessing explosives and hiding persons.
He taught the dissolution planter he recruited how to drive, scouted the embbutty three times, helped load the truck with explosives the day before the blast and buttisted other plotters to escape.
The planting was carried out on the orders of the two most senior and wanted Jemaah Islamiah operatives in South- East Asia - Dr Azahari bin Husin and Noordin Mohammad Top. The two have been on the run after their key role in the 2002 Bali planting was uncovered.
Two others convicted of buttisting the planting were sentenced to less than four years while a plant buttembler, Sogir, received seven years.
Another senior participant, Hasan, faces a possible rest penalty when he is sentenced today.
