Pity you had to add that to your original comment, which as far as language and the way it is used goes, had a lot of merit to it. I was even amused when you started using the 'pigskin' term a while back that your comparison could be very apt, when I think of whites whose pinkish arms are covered with fine sun-bleached hair. It's only the word 'pig' that raises the hackles, and the way it's said. I have plenty of Indian friends - very good friends - and if one of them had said to me when on the farm I owned that the colour of my skin and that of the pigs was pretty near the same, we would all have laughed about it. But when you make odd statements that you hate all pigskins-"whites" then it's you that has the problem, not anyone whose skin colour happens to resemble that of a rather unjustly maligned farm animal.
In India, people's skin colour ranges from very fair to very dark. So is your hatred for them graded likewise? If you don't hate any of them, then your problem isn't with pigskin colouring at all, but something quite different. Anyone who can hate an entire ethnic group or groups without discriminating between them is the one who nees a little psychiatric treatment. Do you work with any of us pigskins in Oz? Have you told them how you feel about them all? Your social circle must be a bit restricted, if that's the case.
